The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) together with the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI, Karlsruhe, and the Bureau d'Economie Théorique et Appliquée (BETA) at the Université de Strasbourg cordially invite you to attend the

 10th International Regional Innovation Policies Conference

which is scheduled for the 15 - 16 October 2015. Following successful predecessors in Salzburg (Austria), Santander (Spain), Edinburgh (UK), Grimstad (Norway), Lund (Sweden), Porto (Portugal), San Sebastián (Spain) and Stavanger(Norway), this conference is a venue for researchers, practitioners and policy-makers with an interest in regional innovation, regional development and innovation policy.

On October 14, doctoral students can attend a pre-conference doctoral day and have the possibility to present and discuss their theses. This day will take place on the Campus of the Université de Strasbourg. The Conference will take place from October 15 to 16 in Karlsruhe at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and features keynotes and parallel sessions. 

Keynote addresses will be held by:

  • David Doloreux (Telfer School of Management), 

  • Dominique Foray (EPFL Lausanne) and 

  • Robert Hassink (University of Kiel).

Participants are encouraged to submit papers for consideration on topics related to regional innovation policy, in particular in relation to the themes as listed in the program.
